Soul to Sole offers Accessible yoga classes throughout the Summer. Instructor Chéri McPhillamey’s classes are of mindful practice that adapts traditional yoga postures and techniques to suit individual needs and abilities. Focusing on safe space, inclusivity, ensuring that people of all ages, body types, health conditions, and mobility levels can experience the benefits of accessible yoga.

Sole to Soles’ outdoor classes are refreshing and open to everyone. Chéri encourages you to bring your own props like chairs, blocks, and bolsters for support and comfort. The emphasis is on safe, empowering movement, breathwork, and meditation, rather than achieving a "perfect" pose.

Instructor Chéri McPhillamey guides you through a slow, meditative pace where you hold poses for several minutes, targeting the body's deep connective tissues like ligaments and fascia. Soul to Soles unique approach enhances flexibility and promotes profound relaxation, prioritizing stillness and inward awareness for a truly nurturing experience.

Yin yoga offers a unique approach to deepening your practice by encouraging you to slow down and hold poses for extended durations, usually between three to five minutes, or even longer. This deliberate pace allows for a profound focus on the body's deeper connective tissues—such as ligaments, fascia, and joints—aiming to enhance flexibility and promote a sense of deep relaxation. Unlike more dynamic or "yang" yoga styles, Yin yoga prioritizes stillness and inward awareness, making it a deeply meditative experience that nurtures both body and mind.

Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is powerful guided relaxation practice that brings you into a profound state of conscious awareness between waking and sleeping. Lying comfortably, you'll passively follow verbal instructions from the instructor that systematically disengages your mind and senses, leading to deep relaxation, stress reduction, and potential personal transformation. This practice, involving body scans, breath awareness, and guided visualization, helps release physical, mental, and emotional tension, fostering inner peace and clarity while accessing restorative brainwave states.

Join me in “The Journey of Acceptance.” This yoga Nidra is designed to guide you on a journey through nature to a realm of self-acceptance. Feel the rising and falling of life as a cycle, that we all experience, as we transform rejection into acceptance for ourselves and others.
